As an experienced Sybase DBA I envisaged I wouldn't actually find this book much use but I thought this book was excellent. In fact by setting some time aside you'd probably learn more from this book than going on the Sybase "powering up" course - which would obviously set you back substantially more than the cost of this book. Lots of useful hints with all the basics well explained and the new functionality/syntax highlighted too.
