Reviews for Agile Management for Software Engineering: Applying the Theory of Constraints for Business Results

  1. Great introduction, but a bit much theory later

    Rated 3 out of 5 stars, June 12th, 2007

This book has a great opening sections summarising how Theory of Constraints can apply to software development. It is worth the price for its concept of ideas as inventory alone. I found the later chapters on the theory behind the ideas and how to put it into practice harder to read because they get quite abstract and use acronyms a lot. If you are not put off by this level of detail in the analysis, you will get a lot out of the book overall.
  2. excellent

    Rated 5 out of 5 stars, November 12rd, 2003

This book neatly combines the Theory of Constraints with Agile/Lean software development. I'm familiar with both but I still learnt a lot. Good effort.
