I have been looking at books to get to be able to proram the G1 phone, however the last book i bought i got stuck on a few of the examples as they were talking about classes and methods which were in the old 0.9 sdk but now google has finalised the 1.0 sdk release they did not include them...
looking through the contents of this book, it talks about Intent Receivers, which no longer exist etc. so be weary about whether this book was written a little too fast and that a few of the examples will not work with the new 1.0 sdk
