good book........... but

The author aims to build a complete application from scratch. This is a good idea where he can show/explain the decisions and reasoning of the choices he makes. IMHO the author has been constrained to keep the number of pages down, by doing so, the author skips some code which makes the code uncompilable.
Pros
1) Building a complete application from scratch
2) Introduction of new tools/frameworks
3) Simple and to the point
Cons
1) Code written for APS.Net MVC RC/Beta (even though the books says as 1.0)
2) No chapter by chapter code download
3) Code flow could have been better, you may feel lost at time
4) I would have chosen a simple application, explaining and understanding the concept is the idea reading the book and not building a application. Readers can apply these concepts in their real projects
Don't be put-off by my comments, this book is a good read
I hope the author will consider these in edition 2 of the book (i really hope the author updates the book)
