Covers all the material, but too waffly for my liking

This book covers the main themes, Inner Joins, Left, Right, Outer Joins, Field Indexes. But I wasn't happy with the style. Too much waffle and not enough code. I would have preferred a more reference type of book. This book is for beginners only.
