   I find this an excellent book to read. Martin's method of writing is clear, concise and enables readers to dip in to chapters as needed and very quickly get the information needed without having to wade through pages of complex explanation. Martin is obviously passionate about mobile communications technology and also very knowledgeable.

2. Excellent introduction to next generation wireless

   I found the book to provide an excellent introduction to all of the technologies that will be common in mobile communications over the next 5 years.
   
   The book is a good mix of technical and commercial issues. It provides an overview of the wireless technologies (LTE, WiMAX etc.) as well as the applications that will run on mobile devices.
