   What can I say? Well, nothing bad, that's what.

   If you program in C, or you want to, you require this book. No arguments, no shopping around for an alternative (there are none), just buy it.

   This should be the first book you read when learning C. Leave the others alone until you have worked through this one.

2. A must-have for readers of "The C programming language".

   Yes, it should have been in the back of The C programming language, not a book on its own! It is that necessary. But it seems to have some minor faults and where do we find the updates?...

3. Why isn't this in the back of 'The C Programming Language'?

   The books authors write hard to follow books that some people I work with find less than helpful. They then ask you to buy another book to see if you can follow their first one at an outragous price! If your thinking of buying it please stop and think. Another book is an easier read and infinitely better value for money.

   I did not know that this book existed. Now I do, and I heartily recommend it as a companion to the Kernigan and Ritchie "Bible" also known as "The C Programming Language."

5. I wish that I'd found this one earlier!

   Where was this book when I was struggling with the C language. In my opinion, this should not be a seperate book, but a part of the book, "The C Programming Language" by Kernighan and Ritchie.

   At last students of C can work through the exercises in "The C Programming Language" and then turn to this book to make sure they are on the right track with the answers.

   5 stars! Buy it today!
