Reviews for Database Design and Programming with Access, SQL, Visual Basic and ASP (2nd edition)

  1. comprehensive database design

    Rated 4 out of 5 stars, November 12th, 2002

This book does cover design of a relational database very well and ERD's too. It goes onto macro's in reports and forms, although it would have been nice to have a CD with the database on to work with. It is quite difficult to imagine setting up reports an macros.
There is a lot of screen shots here, which is great if you are unsure. I suppose it is a beginners book.
I bought this book thinking it would introduce me to VBA within Access. There is none of this. It is all linking Access through VB, which is different. I had to buy the SYBEX developers book 1 to cover this and front end forms with functionalilty
