Reviews for Database Projects in Access for Advanced Level

  1. Buy it just for the tips & tricks

    Rated 5 out of 5 stars, May 12th, 2007

I've been programming with Access using Vbscript and linking databases to web sites written in ASP for years. I only bought this book for my kid who is teaching herself A2.

The book is worth the price for the tips and tricks section alone

I learned stuff that must be burried in the manuals somewhere (but who reads those?!)
  2. Simply Excellent.

    Rated 5 out of 5 stars, April 12th, 2006

I picked-up a copy of this, hoping it might help one of my A-Level Computing students where other books had not inspired. Within days I had to order more copies to satisfy others in the group.

If you buy just one book to help you do the job properly with Access, I recommend this volume highly.
  3. Useful

    Rated 5 out of 5 stars, December 12th, 2005

This is a very useful book as it explains all details of access within an easy to understand page layout. I found this perfect for my advanced higher database project
  4. An excellent book to guide students through A Level ICT

    Rated 5 out of 5 stars, May 12rd, 2004

The book has proved a godsend in helping candidates prepare for both the AS and A2 ICT courseworks. I teach ICT and prepare students for the AQA Board, and the book has been a great boon in the teaching of the subject.

    Highly recommended.

  5. Excellent!

This is an excellent book. I am currently in year 11 taking my GCSE's and it has been really helpful!
