Reviews for Dreamweaver CS3 for Windows and Macintosh:Visual QuickStart Guide

  1. Ever thought about colour?

    Rated 2 out of 5 stars, February 12th, 2009

I'm in agreement with the previous review: the assumption that this book makes is that the user will already have experience using Dreamweaver CS3. I too found the explanations laden with terminology I wasn't yet familiar with - some areas were alright, but the book could have benefited from full-colour images.
  2. Not that suitable for beginners...

    Rated 2 out of 5 stars, May 12th, 2008

As with many books on Dreamweaver, the authors seem to have taken for granted a certain amount of knowledge on the part of the reader. Particularly in the CSS area, I found it very confusing and certain things just weren't explained at all. As someone who is completely new to web design, let alone Dreameaver, I felt that certain terminologies could have been explained better.
