1. Great Introduction to Atlas

   There are many good on-line articles and documentation for Microsoft's Ajax framework, so why would you need this book ?
   
   It not only provides the basics of how AJAX works, but then goes far beyond any of the on-line stuff, by explaining both the client-side javascript and server controls.
   
   It provides a much better understanding of the framework, and is written in a style that makes it easy to absorb the details you will need to become an Atlas expert.
