This book will only let you do 802.11b!
Rated out of 5 stars, February 12th, 2009
Before you buy this book you should know that the method it uses is to buy an 802.11b CompactFlash card and connect it to the microcontroller.
If you are happy with 802.11b data rates then this is probably great (for as long as you can get hold of a suitable card, anyway). But the book does not describe how to achieve an 802.11b/g implementation, and the online mailing list has several people asking how to do this but nobody saying that it can be done. I suspect that 802.11g needs a lot more code on the microcontroller to support it, and you'll be on your own if you want to do that.
