Reviews for Independent Guide to the iPhone 3G

  1. Could have been so much better

    Rated 2 out of 5 stars, December 12st, 2009

Really just gives an overview of the iPhone's functions without providing much useful detail. It certainly left several of my questions unanswered.

What I'd also question is the use of the word 'independent' in the title. This book is written from a very pro-iPhone standpoint with the weaker areas of device glossed over. In fact at times I wondered whether I was reading something from the Apple marketing department.
  2. Great book!

    Rated 5 out of 5 stars, July 12st, 2009

Ignore the other review, the book is a great introduction to the phone's features and functions. Written in a way that is easy to digest too.
  3. Avoid - waste of money

    Rated 1 out of 5 stars, September 12th, 2008

Avoid. That is all I can say.

A waste of money- basically a brief essay on the iPhone.

Doesnt even really tell you how to operate it.
