Numbers for the iPad is a simple way to create documents; just because it's simple doesn't mean you can't create professional looking documents. Numbers even comes with templates to make professional documents with little effort-unfortunately, the templates are limited; if you want to get the most from Numbers, then you need to understand how to find and use the advance features of Numbers.

This book is broken into three parts. The first part is about the basic features of Numbers: what they do and when to use them. The second part will be more hands on; you will create a document from scratch and learn how to insert graphs, tables, formulas, and much more. The last part will briefly look at templates.

This book is for beginning users; it assumes you have no knowledge of Numbers. The point of it is to give you a crash course on the basic features of Numbers as quickly as possible, so you will be ready to create powerful documents on the go.

Simple formulas will be covered, but because this is a beginning book only, the book only shows how to insert formulas, but does not cover how to do advance mathematical equations/formulas.
