   A very worthwhile purchase -- an excellent book which uncovers much of the techniques and technology of the iPhone. It is especially good for my generation who were not brought up with mobile phones. There is no point having a mobile as clever (and as expensive!) as the iPhone if you are unable to make full use of all it's functions.

2. Too full of the authors own views!

   No apple products come with a manual! There so easy to use! So why is it classed as missing? This book only tells the user things that are easy to do on the iPhone if you take the time to explore the menus and play alittle. If you do become stuck or need help visit the apple web site, it's free, and better still it's free from opinons. The writer of this book didn't seem to even like the iPhone half the time so why bother to write a useless book, just for the money me thinks. Visit apple instead.

   Has been helpful and interesting - got me thru my 'fear of new iphone' - so then started using the phone and fell in love with it!

   By the time I discovered and purchased this book I had aleady got my iphone up and running but on reading this brilliant book although I am only half way through I am finding so much more out about the phone and it is written in what I would say is a straight forward and easy to follow way and interesting not like sitting reading the usual kind of manual would recommend this easily.

   It is certainly the book to read..it covers everything you need to know. Although I haven't read it from cover to cover, I occassionally jump into it for some new functionality..
