1. Just the book I was lookin for

   This is a great book to learn Perl for people who know shell script, it introduce you into perl in the better way possible, teaching you how to make a better awk, sed, grep , ...
   In the second part the book goes into "true" Perl, with the base you've got in the first part, you can learn how to make really helpfull perl programs.
   
   Really helpful, if you want to do those scripts you need, and you need something more than shell script.
