Reviews for Modern Database Management: International Version

  1. Great book for students & and Lecturers

    Rated 5 out of 5 stars, December 12th, 2002

The book does what it sets out to do; it provides a clear and concise account of database systems.

I am an under grad study for a software development diploma. Both the students and the lecturer use this book as a basis for the Database module.

I was particularly pleased to see a significant set of exercises and both references and further reading for each chapter.

I would recommend this book to anyone studying computing and databases. It is a good all round book, that covers all the important topics -

    Entity-Relationship Diagrams
    Extended Entity-Relationship Diagrams
    Rational Databases
    SQL

    And much more.
