Reviews for Object-Oriented Programming with Visual Basic .NET

  1. Outdated but still relevant

    Rated 4 out of 5 stars, March 12th, 2009

I think this is quite possibly one of the best books out there for VB.NET programmers or anyone trying to grasp a good understanding of OOP.

There are some good sections that are normally missed out of a lot of books of this nature such as a good look at the Intermediate Language and Assembly cache used in .NET.

The book shows its age a little in that some of the examples are now obsolete in the latest flavours of the framework but still its fun just to try and figure out the new approaches yourself.
