1. Good grounding for understanding operating systems

   I used this book for my undergrad degree course on operating systems. It was very useful for gaining a thorough understanding of the topics covered in lectures. Operating systems as a topic is such a complex subject that without this book I think I would have been lost, so well worth it in my opinion!
