This book takes you through a structured systematic approach to getting the best out of an Oracle system, highlighting where new features that can help were introduced. The style is very readable, and the key messages are highlighted with good examples. If your job is to tune Oracle databases, or you just want to know a bit more about what happens under the covers, and how Oracle perfomance has evovled, this is a good book to have.
