Reviews for PHP: Your Visual Blueprint for Creating Open Source, Server-side Content

  1. Well planned book for starting out

    Rated 5 out of 5 stars, August 12th, 2003

This step by step guide is fantastic for starting out in PHP and is well worth your money. If you are looking for Advanced more comprehensive examples this is not entirely the book for you.
  2. Intuitive, exact and fun.

    Rated 4 out of 5 stars, April 12th, 2003

I found this book easy to follow, well put and simple to understand.
The book take some code and breaks it up, explaining what each part means, giving a better understanding of the process of programming to the reader.

A Great book for anyone interested in learning PHP.

  3. A great book, easy to understand and with a very useful CD

    Rated 5 out of 5 stars, September 12nd, 2001

This book takes a very good, visual approach to teaching PHP with step by step examples on every page. The book's subjects range from the installation of PHP (included on the CD) and webserver software to run it on, to mySQL functions. This book can be used both as a reference and as an initial learning aid. Definitely a good buy for someone starting out in PHP with or without a previous knowledge of programming.
