Excellent follow on book
Rated out of 5 stars, March 12th, 2010
This book is an excellent book which delves into a large number of aspects of the asp.net technology. I am new to this technology and this is the third book I have reviewed in a short period of time. This book is perfect after you have an intermediate knowledge of the technology and an understanding of programming languages (c# in particular). -
Outstanding technical book
Rated out of 5 stars, December 12th, 2009
I'm a professional developer and read a wide variety of technical books - most I just dip into as reference; a few (the ones that engage me) I read cover-to-cover. This falls into the latter category - I have rarely read a technical book that is as clear, concise, pratical, useful and interesting as this one. Even though I've been developing ASP.NET sites for a number of years, I got a tremendous amount out of this book. An excellent read. -
Book for Professionals
Rated out of 5 stars, July 12th, 2009
I choose this book after a long and hard search online. I'm from Oracle and Jave background with little knowledge on C#.
Simply a great book and great value for money. But you need to have a basic software engineering knowledge and C# knowledge to use this. Not recommended if you are totally new to programming. (no idea about C# or programming)
Content is simply great and usefull. -
Good book for intermediate like me. (Useful theory contnet)
Rated out of 5 stars, July 12th, 2009
I'm using this book along with MCTS 70562 Training kit as my exam prep guide. Reading the theory from both the books and practicing the lab from the latter gives better understanding for me.
The paper quality is bit annoying, but it reducess the weight over all.
Overall very good book for intermediate to expert as it claims. -
Good book for professional developers
Rated out of 5 stars, March 12th, 2009
I had very little time to get my project rolling. This book provided me a quick boost, teaching all the practical aspects as well as best practices.
Couldn't have asked for more!
Love this book, recommend it to professional developers.
