One of the worst technical books I've ever read

Bought and started reading this book a couple of months ago and promised myself that I'd warn others about it here on Amazon. They describe the features rather than explaining the concepts. They use a lot of JavaScript code to demonstrate facile uses of AJAX and if JavaScript is one of the things your going to have to learn this is not of much use - they aren't teaching you JavaScript and they aren't efficiently imparting a knowledge of AJAX either. They seem to have thrown the book together without making much of an attempt to explain things.
If you are looking for a book with clear explanations of the concepts - this isn't it! If you are looking for a book that will get you quickly into adding AJAX features to your applications - this isn't it!
