   Dino is one of the best authors and guru's around so it's unlikely you will go wrong with this book. It covers all the key areas.
   Having done some ASP Classic work before and a tiny amount of ASP.Net 1.1, you quickly come to realise how much easier web development is now with version 2. This book, coupled with the online examples and starter kits you can find on the internet is all you need.

2. A great in-depth look for beginners

   This book covers the entire subject thoroughly and will sit on my shelf as a reference book. The level of detail is probably overkill for day to day stuff but it's nice to know you have it if you need it. If you are a beginner then this plus a tutorial style book will cover everything you need.
