1. Not enough detail

   I was hoping for a lot more from this book, it is very thin on detail, instead it skips briefly through examples. I am very new to SOA and Axis 2 and hence I found it difficult to follow.
   
   It may be helpful for someone coming from a previous version of Apace Axis or Apache Soap but I wouldn't recomend it for a beginner or for someone who wants to understand the tool more technically.

2. An introduction to Axis

   The title of the book is 'Quickstart' and indeed it is more an introduction than a book for advanced users. It guides you through the concepts of axis and building webservices with it. Overall good place to start with.
   Unfortunately if you are already using axis and want to solve some 'advanced' problems you encountered you are not very likely to find a solutions in this book. However, it gave me clues where to look for an answers and how to approach the problems.
   The only disappointment is the size of the book, it is 150 pages of IT stuff that I managed to read in less than a day.
