1. So far the book is ok but and this is annoying...

   Some of the features such as XML Links via (xlink) have not actually been implemented in the majority of major browsers including i.e.

   So by all means buy this book as i'm sure it will give you a valuable kick in the right direction but do not expect all of the samples and features mentioned to actually work.

   Also the book does feature several annoying typos and errors that acually mean that some of the samples do not work.

   I recommend that if you buy this book you visit the book website and download the corrections file before reading :)

2. In depth and easily understandable - value for money!

   I have been priveleged to already have a copy of this book and being a keen customer of Amazon I just have to recommend this book. Any beginners new to XML, this is the perfect book for you because it has everything you need to know and the best thing being - it is explained in a form of english which even the most basic beings (like myself) can understand. To sum up, it's a book which will save you hours and hours of your own time, written in clear simple english and yet very technically acomplishing, makes this a book a MUST purchase.
