1. Good reference material for system admin of Solaris 8

   I have just started my new job as a trainee Unix System Administrator. This book is a replication of the man pages, which are available on line. Its a good book for acomplished system administrators who want to quicky find the specific command for their daily tasks. The one thing I like about this book is that it breaks the commands into different catagories i.e; Networking commands, File management commands, Security commands etc. as compared to the online manual which only display the commands that you asked for! If you are new to Unix then I wouldn't recommend this book to you, I would rather buy "Unix in a nutshell" by O'Rielly.
