Reviews for SQL The Complete Reference, 3rd Edition

  1. A Very Definitive Study Reckoner on SQL

    Rated 4 out of 5 stars, March 12th, 2010

This book is definitely one of the most indepth coverages on SQL that you will find out there wihich is a definite five starts for it but I have rated it four stars as I use it on a daily basis in my day-to-day applications work and I find the need more that often to refer to the MySQL online documentation for many of the missing pieces of information that are yet not containes in this book ... So though quite comprehensive as a study guide there are still a few advanced pieces of application information missing for example while actually using MySQL that one has to refer to the online documentation ... also the query examples are good for intro level studies ... book could be advanced with more examples of advanced queries encountered in the field ...
