Reviews for The Manga Guide to Databases

  1. Kawaii Guide That Is Surprisingly In Depth

    Rated 5 out of 5 stars, May 12nd, 2010

This book, despite it's 'comical' appearance, is much more than a superficial pamphlet on database structure and querying - it is, in fact, very in depth and mindful of a best-practice approach to creating, organizing, and using databases. It comes with very clear descriptions and plenty of examples and quiz questions to help you get a firm grasp of the concepts.

Well worth picking up, and the perfect gift for the otaku geek in your life.
  2. Interesting take on learning about databases

    Rated 4 out of 5 stars, May 12th, 2009

Its weird and wonderful, but it works! Done in the style of a manga graphic novel this book teaches you all about relational databases. Seems to cover everything and delivers it in an amusing but informative way.

Well worth a look if you know nothing about databases
