A rushed new edition for SQL 2008, but good all the same

This study guide has been a great way of learning the new features and functionality of SQL Server 2008, with obvious emphasis on what you need to pass the exam.
It is laid out in a clear manner, with good examples, exercises, faqs and example test questions. I did find this book useful, but there are simple mistakes in the grammar, language and code examples that suggest this was put together quickly for the new 2008 version of the MCTS exams. For example, there are references to ALTER TYPE statements which are not supported, and some sql statements which are not quite formed correctly.
It is easy to spot these mistakes if you know something about SQL Server, and they are easily rectified, but it does put a downside on what is quite a good reference.
