Well written covereage of an underestimated subject
Rated out of 5 stars, October 12nd, 2003
This subject is not well represented on the bookshelves. Ward and Smith write knowledgably on the subject from a position of experience. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who wants to manage sucessfully in challenging cultural environments. -
An Excellent Effort
Rated out of 5 stars, October 12nd, 2003
I found this book to be extremely useful insomuch as it address issues that concern business and business people in the 21 Century. It is well written and gets its ideas and arguments across in a clear fashion without labouring out of date or irrelevant concepts.'Trust' is very much flavour of the month, everybody's talking about, everybody's writing about it. But nobody I've read has defined it like these guys. From their definition they present us with a method for building trust that really works in the relationships that businesses run on. Someone ought to make our bosses read it....

Worth a try, but a failure

Confusing and poorly thought through, but an interesting subject for a good author or authors.
