   An excellent book for any BA who wishes to use UML. No prior UML knowledge is assumed. Book covers all aspects of UML that is required in business analysis. Throughout the book, the author uses a real life case study. Book is easy to follow and quality is writing is very good. Highly recommended.

2. Great book for BAs

   Great book to read for any BA! Specially for the BAs new to their job. It takes you through end to end process of a project life cycle and talks about "BA Perspective" at every stage of the project.
   
   Its not book only for requirement gathering or Use Case modeling, it is book for overall Business Analysis approach with practical case study. It uses UML2 through out the book and maps the latest standard practices mentioned in IIBA BABOK 2.0.
   
   I would recommend it to anyone who wants to step into the shoes of BA role or existing BAs who wants to brush up their skills or improve their standard practices in their current projects.
