Excellent Book
Rated out of 5 stars, July 12th, 1999
This is an excellent book for the begginers, who don't even know what is an SQL, they can learn on their own and master it with in a month. -
Good intro to SQL syntax
Rated out of 5 stars, June 12th, 1999
While the book was a little more elementary than I had hoped, it was still a very good introduction to the subject, and it certainly didn't hurt me any to review the underlying database theory. Nearly every chapter had stuff that would have saved me considerable work if I had just read the book two months earlier... -
An excellent book for those who already have exposure to SQL
Rated out of 5 stars, May 12th, 1999
If you are looking for a book that covers SQL, and already have a bit of knowledge about it, this book is an excellent choice. It can seem a little simple and straight forward if you like flashy publications, but you will be grateful for the simplicity when using it as a reference. Great 'no nonsense' book. -
Best SQL Primer
Rated out of 5 stars, April 12th, 1999
I bought this book to cram for an interview and found it to be an excellent reference book. The inside cover has the syntax of the SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT, and DELETE commands - quite useful.
