   This book is more SBS 2008 for dummies than an administrators companion, nothing particularly informative if you are already familiar with SBS 2003, took me 40 mins to scan through. If you want a general medium level technical "how to" instruction manual then its for you. If you need deep technical troubleshooting its a definte no. Its probably not meant to be a troubleshooting manual but "Administrators Companion" is not quite right.

   Very comprehensive book from the basics through to the more complex setup items. Great for keeping up to date with the differences from SBS 2003.
   
   Always handy to keep around. Well written with screenshots and diagrams where appropriate.
   
   If you've every Googled an SBS issue you may have come across Charlie Russel. This book is an ideal companion to keep on site when doing an install (the CD even comes with a PDF of the book!).

3. Depressingly big yet sparse

   Like the Windows Small Business Server "Pocket Companion". It feels like the author of this just went through the motions. I've yet to find a useful piece of information in it.

4. Perfect all round book for Server 2008

   Just WOW!
   I have learnt more from this book in the past 4hrs than I have in the past year, if you are looking to upgrade to Windows Server 2008 or are just interested in playing about with the software I highly suggest you buy this book.
   It comes with a very helpful CD which includes the book in a pdf format which makes quickly searching for topics easy. Also I would suggest you download the Windows Server 2008 trial version and install it on any PC you have to spare to put what you are learning into practice.
